Lawn Mower Suggestions

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Last weekend, with the horrible weather in STL, we went lawnmower shopping and came home with this.

This is the cheapest model in the HRX line, but I really liked the versamow system and the infinitely variable speed.

My father has a Toro with the personal pace system, and the handle will actually move to indicate to the mower to start moving, and I knew I didn't want that.

Tonight will be the fist time I get to take it for a spin. Thanks again.

Congratulations on your purchase, it's a beauty.

Even though it's new, I'd recommend Mother's clay plus a QD for lube, you just never know about how much rail dust its accumulated on its train ride to North America.

Follow with Meguiar's #21 Synthetic sealant with Souveran as a topper. The neighbours will be agog.

I've got a Craftsman with a Briggs and Stratton engine, and it runs great. Main thing is to do maintenance at the beginning of every "mowing season". Change oil, plug, filter, and don't let gas sit in it in the off season.
