Latest detailsâ„¢ v. Porsche Carrera, more Supra TT pics, Souveran beads at 3.5 months?

ScottWax- The compliments on your work almost go without saying ;) Heh heh, you and Mosca sure get longer lasting beading out of Souveran than I do :nixweiss As for heat, the hood of the XJS gets awfully hot, and the Souveran doesn't last on it well at all. But your pics speak for themselves so I'd better quit bad mouthing Souveran's durability.

George, different enviromental conditions seem to affect carnaubas more than sealants. If you have a lot of heavy industry in your area, that can be a carnauba killer.

Souveran seems to protect pretty well, just wish the liquidy deep look lasted longer on a daily driver. Probably why I tend to go with Carnauba Moose instead on my own car.

Brian-I agree, that Supra is incredible and is very well taken care of.

Well, that isn't it; I'm in a pretty good area when it comes to that kind of contamination :nixweiss All my carnaubas last a long time except for the Souveran.

I'd give it another try on a car that actually gets driven (as opposed to the Jag) but my wife likes it so much that I don't want to tease her by putting it on the A8 unless I'm gonna keep using it. She *still* remarks how nice it looked with that stuff, it really made an impression on her.

Does QEW leave anything behind that can contribute to beading?

Yeah, maybe for a week. However, I always wash that Rolls conventionally. The owner wants to see a bucket, hose and lots of suds. Plus he has a reverse osmosis/deionizer set up at his warehouse and home for me to use.
