2004 Rolls Royce Phantom. Apparently got caught by some sprinklers, lots of light to moderate water spots primarily on the hood and roof. Polished the car out with Optimum Polish and a Meguiars Polishing pad, then glazed with Detailer's Pride Final Finishing Polish, which quite frankly, seems almost like a glaze version of Optimum the appearance is so similar. Finished the car off with Jeff's Werkstatt Acrylic Jett.

1994 Infiniti J30t. Detail this one 2-3 times a year. Last saw it in the fall but other than a lot of debris in the interior, it wasn't too bad. What was bad is we had one of those popcorn thunderstorms spring up after I had washed it and my son had vacuumed it. Had to wait until the storm passed, which was around 45 minutes. Then the sun came out and the humidity was horrendous. I went through 2 shirts on this one. Ugh. Still better than the cold. ;)

Anyway, paint was decent, so I polished it with Optimum Polish and a Meguiars polishing pad and applied Poorboy's EX-P by hand.

Birds hate me. I had just washed this SC430 when I noticed the hood:

Seconds later and some QEW...and notice how nice a 6 week old application of Glanz Wax looks. ;)

Silverado 2500HD interior. Just goes to show how tough interior shots are on sunny days...even with flash. I think you can see some improvement though. Cleaned with woolite/water mixture, protected with Optimum's Interior Protectant on the vinyl and Turtle Wax Leather Conditioner on the leather.

More cars at the sunny law office! Only 3 left now. Been lucky they've all been in decent shape so far.

2001 Cadillac STS. Clearkote's Vanilla Moose with a Meguiars polishing pad and Poorboy's EX-P by hand.

2001 Lexus RX300. Same combo as above, except I needed to use Poorboy's SSR2 with a Meguiars polishing pad on the hood to remove some light rotary trails prior to using Vanilla Moose. Took a before shot of the hood but it seems the sunlight washed them out too much to see them.

Very nice work as usual. The Rolls is flawless and glanz wax at six weeks is lookin pretty good. The STS ad the RX300 are also very wet. What was used on the STS's tires?

Armor All, just like on all the rest. I apply it with an Eagle One Tire Swipe to get a good even coating, then move the car ahead a few feet and go over them again to make sure there are no dry spots.

Do you think Final Finishing Polish leaves a significant amount of oils behind to compromise Acrylic Jett's durability? In any case, that's certainly a killer combo.

Scott, do you wear grey BVD's? :LOLOL Could you get one of those dancers to take a shot for you next time. :banned:

The paint felt more squeaky clean after using FFP than slick and it says it is the final polishing step prior to applying a sealant or wax and they do recommend using their sealant over it. You can work it a long time but it doesn't seem oily the way VM does.

Very nice work Scott....and that Rolls detail, well it's just...

I saw one at the Ferrari dealer the other day, black, covered in buffing halograms. The sad thing is that no one at the dealer really noticed them :wall

We have had rain here the last few days, expecting more tomorrow and later today because of Emily so not much work going on but we really needed the rain so no complaints......yet :D

Take care,

Anthony

That's such a horrifying image! :shocked :(

Thanks again Scott for the eye candy! :2thumbs:

GREAT work Scott!

I never get tired of looking at the Rolls...and by your pics, I don't think you do either :).

Thank you for revisiting VM/EX-P...Those vehicles look great!

Very nice Scott. I now am seeing more and more pictures from you...must be the broadband. :)

Look for my Silverado detail in a hour or two.

For the love of gawd speak the truth man!!!!! :2thumbs:

Beautiful works as always Scott!! The Rolls looks phenomenal!!! Is he still considering getting the Lamborghini??

You do great work. Unforturatley the Rolls make the other car pale. Do not show them at the same time.

Also, you musr have a great rep for someone to let you get anywhere near that car.

Again nice work.

I love detailing that Rolls. Just a magnificent car! Unbelievably huge too.

We've been having popcorn storms all week, just hit and miss so not many have cancelled on me. Trying to get in as much work as possible before my kids go back next Monday.

Sean-I love the VM/EX-P combo. Great for paint in pretty good shape when you are stuck in the sun all day. Heck, it is a great combo on cloudy days too. :)

Steve-yes, I am on broadband now. 6 mbps down, 768k up. :)

Mike-from what I've heard, the Murcielago is in or will be soon. The question is have the new rules pertaining to topless clubs in Arlington affected his income enough that he passes on the car. I sure hope not.

VictoryRed-yes, it does retract.

tabinha-believe it or not, the first two cars I did for him more than 11 years ago were a lowered Mercedes 560SEL and a Rolls Royce Silver Spur. :)

Truthfully, it is very nice to know people will trust you with that level of vehicle.

Everyone else-thanks! :wavey
