2002 Jaguar S Type. Sealed with Detailer's Pride Premium Surface Shield and topped with their sealant spray about 5-6 weeks later. I've washed it with Optimum's QEW and topped with Z8 Sealant Spray the last two weeks. Seems to have a pretty nice glow, definitely slick!

1984 Mercedes 280E. Original paint, owned by an older couple. Very well maintained overall. I last detailed it about 18 months ago, it only has 89,000 miles so it isn't driven very often.

It needed pretty heavy claying, turned the clay bar black! I then used Optimum Polish with a Meguiars polishing pad and topped with Collinite 845. Sorry about the half sun/half shade pics, no place to move the car quickly since they were fixin' to leave.

2005 Acura TL. Detailed the exterior over the summer using AIO and Acrylic Jett. Late July or early August. Anyway it still looked really good and had decent slickness. Optimum QEW and Z8. First time Z8 made only a slight visual improvement, just seemed a touch wetter. It seems as though AJ really holds its look for a while. Definitely slicker though. :)

Armor All on the Jag and my car, just picked up a bottle of the Vroom protectant at Target and used it on the Mercedes and TL. Seems very similar to Meguiars Natural Shine both in color and thickness. Different scent though.

Great set of details , the depth is awesome in all of them, please tell me more about this products and what type of color works best...Detailer's Pride Premium Surface Shield and Sealant ??

Scott, I've just had a look at the Armor All website and I see a number of products for tires (sprays and foams). Exactly which one do you use, and if its a spray, do you spray directly or spray onto an applicator and then wipe on?

After a few weeks I'd like to hear how Z8 holds up against OCW.

I agree with the others.... your car is looking sweet! (The others look fantastic as well) I'm going to have to try that combo on black. It's a very nice look.

Are you seeing any marring with the QEW on your black car?

DPs Sealant seems similar to 4 Star UPP, really clear bright shine that works best on metallics. Seems tailor made for the color of that Jag. :)

I use the regular original shine version. I apply it using an Eagle One Tire Swipe, really does a great job laying down a real even coating.

mgm121499-I don't believe Z8 is meant as a stand alone LSP like OCW is. My understanding it is more of a maintenance product. Seems to hold up after a week fine.
