Latest detailsâ„¢ v.'06 Charger R/T, more details in the sun

Are your son's feet actually that big or is he like mine and likes his shoes 4 sizes too big? They look like boats on him.

Superb as usual - I really need an "excellent work Scottwax" button on my keyboard!

I really like the last 2 cars, the Charger in particular and good to see your Son keeping up the family tradition of attention to detail.

Simply brilliant......another member of the 'Scottwax Detail Appreciation Society' :xyxthumbs

That Dodge Charger looks one beast of a car and the finish on the black 2005 Infiniti G35 is just amazing :waxing: :bigups

Man you gotta love those Black cars all pimped out in a fresh detail..

How do you like those Meguiars Burgandy Cutting pads ? I haven't used mine yet, mainly the yellow polish pad.

As always your work speaks for itself.

Nice seeing you had some help from the boys....

I'm 50/50 on those Chargers, That one is nice. The black G is VERY nice.

I'm suprised you didn't use RMG on the black G and went with VM instead?

Hard to believe your customer went from an AMG to a Dodge...that's certainly a new one. How do you do Jeep wheel wells with QEW? Do you spray it?

1. He had been having problems with the S55 and was sick of it. Nothing major, just a bunch of small stuff would go wrong pretty regularly. He got a good price for it, bought the Charger and invested the rest.

2. I have a couple brushes and just dip them in the QEW bucket, scrub, rescrub then wipe dry.

WOW Scott those are some nice pics of some nice detail jobs! I know that TX sun is a killer in the summer months, have you ever thought of buying those portable canopies?

1. The Meguiars cutting pad works great with the PC with either Optimum Polish or DP's Super Swirl Eliminator but I get some light marring if I use it with DACP.

2. It is going to suck when they leave. They've been a huge help this summer since I have been swamped with business. I need to start looking around for some permanent help.

3. I went with VM since it does have light abrasives and the DP SSE, while it finishes down nice, I did use it with a cutting pad and wanted to use something with some abrasive propeties for the glazing process instead of purely chemical cleaners.

I've thought about it but most of the time it is just too windy here. Not only would I need to carry the canopy but also 4 heavy bases to insert the legs of the canopy into to prevent it from blowing over.

I'm so used to it anyway. I just put on a hat, slather on sunscreen and have at it. If I do know I won't have shade and need to do some heavy polishing, I try to schedule around the midday sun.

Scottwax...If you are ever going to be in the Chicago area, please stop by to detail my 2003 Black A4. I would like to know what it could look like. :bow

Wow! I have a black 2003 Infiniti G35 coupe and my paint definitely doesn't look that good. I particularly have trouble with my hood. If you are ever in huntsville, AL I would gladly pay you to detail my G35 so I can learn from the master. How do you find the quality of the Infiniti black paint relative to Lexus etc?

Lexus paint is definitely better than Infiniti in terms of orange peel but gloss seems similar.

I do go through Huntsville occasionally after taking my kids back to their Mom's but it is an extra 150 miles for me. Not sure if I would have time to do an exterior detail plus drive the extra 150 miles this time....but it would be a week from Wednesday if I could. ;)
