Latest details

Deanski-Carnuba Moose is on the order page. Mr. Glass has been working on selling his home near Houston and moving to Oklahoma for the past month or so and I guess that has taken a lot of time. He e-mailed me to let me know the move will be complete by early next week and the website would be updated beyond the product page.

I don't use any 3M products other than trying out IHG and the Show Car Paste Wax, so I am not really familiar with 3Ms abrasive rankings.

Ah, I see said the blind man has he picked-up his hammer and saw!

Thanks!

Going to try the products one day on the SC430. Maybe first top the Zaino with the CM on one area and the other the Souveran to compare.

Then I may have to "off the Zaino while I try the Clearkote.

Regards,

Deanski

Scott, I have a question. I'm currently in the process of buying stuff to get my black 2002 Avalanche back in perfect shape, and currently use and love S100 and plan on sticking with it. I know you've already compared this to the Clearkote wax, but I have a question.

One of my favorite things about S100 is that it allows wetness from overnight dew, for example, to just "rinse" the car clean as the dew runs off or evaporates, taking any dust with it, and always leaving an almost spotless finish. Other things I've used aren't like this.

I don't know if you would have ever encountered this, but does the Clearkote stuff allow the car to "rinse off" cleanly like was discussed on here about S100? I'm just trying to figure out a new routine and maybe wax for the Avalanche, and after seeing the pics, I'm just drooling to have this gorgeous truck looking like that!

Beach-I havent noticed that phenomenom with Carnuba Moose, but I have noticed like S100, if it rains, my car looks pretty good, unless of course, it was a very light rain and my car was dusty.

We really haven't had any dew yet this year, but I do know what you are talking about.

If I ever get to Arlington Tx. I gota have you do my car.You must have the magic hands . I bet you could make a car shine with baking soda and a pillow case

Great work Scott! one of the best things about Autopia are your pictures, I always look forward to them.

As for the wheels on the CLK, I think I'm the only person on earth that actually likes them. I think they look very....well German I suppose. Utilitarian yet attractive. I also like the way they're polished, not chrome, but bright.
