Latest details, vM3 and working at night

I'm going to have to disagree. The 2nd shot shows the water "running" down in a few spots which tells me its time for a re-wax. I have #16 on my Denali--the beading is much tighter than that and its been 8-9 weeks.

Nope. Paint was still slick. The water is running down because the paint is slick. If it was pooling, then it would be time to rewax. I washed it again yesterday, still beading great and decently slick.

hey scottwax do u think there would be any difference at all if u topped the m3 with carnuba after the ex-p. I have the exact same car and have been looking for a good combo like the vm and ex-p. great job.

Either Meguiars #16, Poorboy's Natty Paste Wax or Pinnacle Paste Glaz would enhance and probably slightly deepen the clear wet look you get with EX-P.

tdekany-I clay as needed. I'd say nearly half the new cars I detail for the first time need at least the horizontal surfaces clayed.

thanks for the clarification Scott. I was just wondering. I've never seen you mention it in your posts. At least not the ones that I have read.

PS: do you ever take pictures with a digital camera? I d' interested to see what the difference is in the picture. Your pictures look so awesome! What kind of camera is it if you don't mind me asking?

Hey guys,

This VM, EX-P combo looks really good.

Can someone tell me exact name of the "vanilla moose" product mentioned in these threads?? Is it the "vanilla moose wax hand glaze"???
