Latest details v.Pawn shop Corvette

Nice job Scott! I especially like the third shot! the back of that vette looks sharp, i like that wing flair thing to, havn't seen many like this.

Scott,

I really like the hood shot of the Jag very liquid and wet looking! The black paint on the Corvette is awsome looking! It looks like a 5 gallon tub of black ink was poured all over the car! :xyxthumbs

One of my clients has a 2003 Jet Black Z06 Corvette and I gave him a bottle of the NXT when it came out - since then his Z06 has that wet inkwell look to it. NXT on jet black is a pretty good topper!

As always Scott, incredible detailing! :bow :bow :bow

Cheers,

Great work.

Interesting idea putting Natty's over the Souveran. Never heard of that before. The beading pic speaks for itself!

Personally, I hate the front nose on the Corvette. The rear spoiler isn't too bad though.

Scott,

I have a vette next week and I am wondering what you did for the wells? They are really hard to get to. I looked at it today and I am thinking to just use APC+, let sot for 5 mins, then spray and dress. You use QEW so there must be some trick. Unless you are just dressing them.

Thanks,

Trent

Trent-

I have a variety of brushes I use. However, that Corvette is at a warehouse that has a water deionizer and pressure sprayer that I can use.

Yes, they are hard to get to because the tires really fill the fenderwells. My distributor has a plethora of brushes in all shapes and sizes and I have enough that I can pretty much get into most areas.

question

when you detail your customers cars a year later do you claybar the car? or just wash then wax?

It depends. My regular weekly wash customers rarely need their cars clayed because they are pretty good about regular polishing and waxing. If I haven't seen a car in a year, it is a good bet I will need to clay it.

man scott your work is incredible

that audi is extremely sexy

AND you do boats? awesome.

Uh...I think you posted this in the wrong thread. No Audis, no boats...but I do detail boats on occasion.

That rear shot on the vette is awesome! Any tips on getting rid of the wax residue in the cracks between the door and the door side moldings? Man those are tough. That's the only spot I have trouble with on these cars.
