Corvette is last, don't get your undies in a twist. Got to build suspense, right?

2000 Jaguar. I detail this car about once a year. 4 years old, 15,000 miles on the odometer. Owned by the elderly parents of one of my regulars. Paint was in excellent shape, just needed a quick polish with PwC and a polishing pad, and finished off with #16.

Not sure why the color of the hood shot is off. :nixweiss

1997 Mercedes S420. Regular customer, wanted it detailed to sell. Told me to concentrate on the interior since the exterior was in good shape. I just used NXT with a polishing pad.

1998 Honda Accord. No clue as to why Honda did not put a clear coat on white 6th gen Accord. No full pics, I didn't have the keys and the lighting in the garage wasn't very good.

After polishing with #80 and a polishing pad. Yes, I know there is a bit more light in this pic, out of my control. Anyway, you should be able to see a noticable improvement. My camera really didn't pick up how badly streaked the paint was in the before shot.

2001 VW Passat-new (this year) customer. Detailed it back in April and polished and waxed it in June. Redetailed it today. Meguiars #80 with a polishing pad and #16 Paste.

The 'Vette is next!

The guy with the Rolls bought a 2001 Corvette for $20,000 at a pawn shop. Needs some work. Check engine light is on, traction control isn't working and it really needed to be cleaned up. On the plus side, it has SLP headers, a Corsa exhaust and a carbon fiber cold air intake (not sure of the brand) and the traction control isn't working! I got to take it out for a quick spin and by spin, I mean the rear tires! Fried them up to about 50 mph before I backed out of it. w00t! Even at a 30mph roll, you get a quick bark from the tires.

He bought the car to fix up and sell, hopefully making some money in the process. The car did have some rotary swirls but they weren't too deep. You could see them in the sun but once the clouds rolled in, you couldn't. I had to use the lighting in their warehouse to check to make sure they were coming out. Like I said, they weren't very deep and #80 with a polishing pad took care of them. I finished it off with NXT and a polishing pad.

And just for fun, Natty's over Souveran at 6 weeks. :)

Hehe, nice to see I am not the only one layering different carnaubas.

Scott, you created a monster!

As always...great work. The vette looks great! Is the spoiler stock? I've seen that on some vettes and really like it.

I'm not sure about the rear spoiler, it is intergrated into the rear cap. The front spoiler isn't stock and neither is the hood.

The hood, front spoiler, Z06 brake ducts, rear spoiler (actually...the entire rear clip) and tailight covers are not stock. The exhaust system isn't stock either.

How many miles were on the Vette Scott?

Wow Scott....

Amazing work. That Vette is beautiful.

I notice that you use a wide variety of products. Do your customers ever give you input on what they want you to use???

I don't like the tailight covers, but I like the rest of the car. If I remember right, the mileage was around 20,000. Sucker is quick!

Pins you in the seat on launch and just keeps pushing!

Pat-my customers trust me to make their cars look good, they don't ask what I use for the most part. The guy with the Rolls and the one with the Cayenne Turbo both like Souveran though.

:wow on the vette!

NXT on black is just :D...Pawn shop?

On the Rolls, do you feel Natty's is sealing in the shine for Souveran? Looks great and is beading like whoa.

lookin good man! i tried 16 finally this weekend on a white eclipse. i figured it should hold up pretty well cause you use it on everything this time of the year:). the cars look great!

Sean-I don't know how the 'Vette ended up at the pawn shop but my customer bought the car. He is going to address the broken traction control and CEL problems and then sell the car for a profit.

I used Natty's over Souveran to add some wetness. Souveran has a very liquid, 3D look but Nattys is wetter looking, if that makes sense. Natty's made the paint look wetter without affecting (that I could see) Souveran's depth. Beads like crazy!

OH MY GOD! 20K for a Vette that only has 20k MILES! OMFG Someone is OFF THEIR ROCKER! If I would have known about it I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT!

I'll let you know when it is on Ebay. It won't be for 20k though.

Pawn shop 'Vette?

Must have been a pro athlete fallen on hard times! ;)

Scott...nice work ( as usual!)
