my thoughts exactly... i saw that pic and was like DAMN i wish that was in my driveway... good job on the details... especially the benzy.



do u think the poorboys pro polish, and/or the poorboys pwc are capable of removing swirls with a pc or rotary?

#80 is more aggressive than #9 and finishes down with a wetter look. #9 or #82 will have somewhat sharper reflections since they don't seem to have as many polishing oils as #80.



AudiOn19s-thanks! Yes, work #80 until it starts to clear. I just crank the PC up to 6 for most polishing, regardless of the product. It may be slightly harder on the pads, but the tradeoff is better polishing, IMO.



NavindraLR-I haven't used Pro Polish, just PwC and it is fine for light cobwebbing but it is probably the pad doing most of the work since I don't believe PwC is abrasive. I think even with a rotary, you should step up to one of PBs SSR swirl removers (provided you want to stay with the PBs line) to remove anything other than light spider swirls and defects.
 
Everything looks wet this month :lol ...Fitting the whole El Nino effect. :)



My votes go to the green C-Class and black M-Class.

Google is your friend. ;) Honestly, I don't really know much beyond that initial post several months back on Autopia. Based on my own observations, very low cobwebbing paint. Still too much orange peel though.



Sean-I haven't been by my distributor in a few weeks. Next time I stop by, I'm going to get 2-3 gallons. Should last at least a little while. :xyxthumbs
 
That green Benz is PURRRTY. I was wondering if #80 can be applied by hand and still get good results or does it need to be used with a pc to get decent results? I have been using #9 topped by #20 (applied by hand) with good results on our cars, but I also do a friend of mine's car that needs more cleaning/swirl removing power and have been thinking of trying #80 but was unsure if it would be woth buying since it would be applied by hand. Thanks

I went over the chrome with my PC and Poorboy's Polish w/carnauba. I used Eagle 20/20 on the glass.
 
Nice Work Scottwax, They all look amazing! i was going to ask what you used on the Dodge ram's crome also, i picked up some pwc a few weeks ago. so you say it has no abrasives? i was hoping to use this for one step on cleaner or newer cars maybe followed by a coat of #16 or S100. i was looking for a quick solution if someone wants me to detail there car, i wouldn't charge them much, but was looking for a lite polish/wax product for a quick one step. maybe i'm looking to much, and should just use 80 and S100 or #16.
 
What pad do you use to put the Poorboys on the chrome??...My Ford Superduty has BIG chrome bumpers that I think I want to give the Poorboys a try on!!
 
cheapshot-either Poorboy's PwC or Meguiars NXT work well as a light one step product. Neither will remove anything other than very minor problems though. I wouldn't use either on anything less than paint already in very good condition.



chaotik-I used a Meguiars polishing pad.
