I may order some to use as an 'inbetween wax' wax. Sort of like a QD on durability steriods.

How was the Optimum Polish, Scott? I'd like to try some of that if it's a versatile as they claim.

First impression is that it seems similar to #82 because of the real sharp reflections. Not as wet as #80 though. I do like the fact that it is extremely low dusting for a polish.

Beautiful work Scott!!:xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

Damn you though...now I have to try the Cyclo!! :D What are your thoughts/opinions of the PC vs. Cyclo? Everything I seem to read indicates that it is stronger than the PC (in generating heat) but much less than a rotary.

Yeah it would be good to get a comparison of the 2 items so we know the pros and cons to each machine. It may sway alot of people who use the pc only. If it has enough pros and handles cleaning and polihing paint better than the pc and takes away the need for a rotary (in most cases) that would be big news to those of us unfamiliar with the cyclo.

The cyclo seem to be more aggressive than the PC, at least based on my initial use. The only real drawbacks are the high initial cost and that it can't get into areas as tight as a PC.

Jeez, how did that lady get her carpets looking like a swampy bog? Unbelievably atrocious...

What did the car smell like Scott? I'm guessing it wasn't all aesthetic horror either.

man, i have gone back and looked at this threads pics like 5 times, you know, its like driving by a terrible accident and you cant stop yourself from looking, great weather in dallas forcast, maybe we will get more pics from scottwax with the cyclo :bounce

I think i would have been close to throwing up trying to scrape out the interior in the first pic - especially the back. Makes me wonder how people can drive in something like that. At that point, it's beyond just not having autopian standards for car.....it's just being a slob. That's disgusting.

Actually, it didn't smell all that bad because I don't think any food was spilled in it. Just tons of stains, a total lack of vacuuming, etc. I've detailed worse. I detailed a Suburban once it the interior smelled like puke but I couldn't find it after looking at the disgusting carpeting on initial inspection. When I pulled the Mapsco out of the pocket on the back of the front passenger seat, I found it. The customer needed a new Mapsco too.

scottlee-the forecast looks good through Tuesday, I have a couple of pearl Escalades coming up, one an exterior detail and the other a full detail. I'll end up cleaning a total of 4 Escalades this week.

FordTaurus-try imagining riding around in an Expidition that is so filled with dog hair when you open the door, tufts of hair float out when the wind blows. Seriously. They also eat in it. I also hope they never call me again. 3-4 times I've detailed the interior and each time it was nasty.
