Add some Blue Corral Upholstery Cleaner.....

And a mere 5 hrs of work.....

Great work!

That top (before) pic looks like the paint is grey mud and the after pic looks like bright silver. Usually, MB paint does not look that bad. How old is the car? Maybe it has an older paint job...

My car looks pretty good after nearly six years and have only had it detailed twice--once about five years ago and again about two months ago. I'll try to insert a couple of pics--taken BEFORE the last detail.

Very nice.
Thank you Stevo, Pat, Greg, and Lowe...

what did you use on the mats?

Blue Corral Upholstery Cleaner, and a Blue Stiff Nylon brush, pre-vacuumed. There nice matts to begin with, but not rubber backed, so theres no hose washing/extractor method.

LOL Patrick did you climb on the roof of the house to get the first pics? Nice job, btw.

Actually True, there was a block wall between neighbors. I thought what the heck for a different perspective. The first pic is real professional aint it !!??

Nice job bringing back that silver paint, it almost looked like an 80's GM with laquer checking it was so dull. Creative pics too! :)

Thank you Scott.....

And todays SL 500.....

Now this Benz, was not in the worst of shape. Smooth paint to start with, but years of quick detailing, micromarring, and some deeper scratches. It had never seen water or a bath since posession, other then rain.

I started with Optimum Polish and Green pad. I didnt bother claying as it was really smooth to begin with, and Im not about to clay black if I dont have to...I then broke out another virgin PC, and added a 4" green pad, with Optimum for the trouble areas and scratches. Well, still unhappy, I moved to SSR 2.5 with the 4" for the troubled areas. I then decided I wasnt happy with what Optimum did on the rest of the car! So I SSR 2.5'd everything with the 7" Green pad, then Optimum'd (is that a word?) the entire car again! Thank goodness this was only an exterior job! I did do some light interior work, involving vacuum, dash, and seat treatment. Always give them what there not expecting. Oh......to finish it off, I used UPP, and Mr. Buffer on the AMG wheels.

Cool client, a friend of one of my favorite clients who lives across the street and owns the 650 i I did several weeks ago. Now I have two favored clients on the same street! He keeps this Mercedes covered, indoors the majority of the time. I told him if he keeps up his maintenance and has little outdoor activity, to call me in 6 months. Upon which he said, "Put me on your calendar."

And, to boot, he gave me 2 doz golf balls, and an old "Ping" putter!

P.S. For some reason, after taking about 12 pics, this is/was the only decent one that came out. Maybe Santa will bring me a new Digital? I tried evry angle, but being in the garage, with flourescent lighting, and the flash wanting to go off, I wasnt having much luck. I was able to at least salvage one though.....

None Scott...........It sure was nice working on a floor with tile on it. But I did miss the outside shots. The car didnt move after I was done.......
