2004 BMW 330 - I left a flyer on the winshield last week.

Anyways, in the garage there is no power and no water so everything was done by hand

- Q&EW

- Autopia clay

- AIO

- IHG

- AMINO UV Polymer wax

- Something like invisable glass from wal mart that works great

- Lexol on the interior

- PB B&B on tires/wheel wells

- AIO on front wheels

The paint is exremely slick and I think it came out pretty well.

Here are the pictures

Beautiful detail and a beautiful 3 series!!! :xyxthumbs

I hope to Gawd that the new 4 series coupes look better than the current 5 series. The BMW design department has taken a step backwards IMHO  with all these hard "edge" type design cues.

wow, nice work! where the rims actually that dirty where they looked grey?

and how did you clean the the convertible top?

You should send that first after pic to BMW!

Looks great...I love that color

BTW: 56k users are gonna have ur hmmm in a vice :lol

SpoiledMan - that is a very nice compliment, thank you.

1 Clean WS6 - thanks very much! I love the current M3. I agree with you about the design, but still would buy one if I had money.

hirosh - Thanks! I washed it like I did the rest of the car. It wasn't very dirty. The wheels however were gray - very typical for german cars.

2 weeks ago I had a bottle with some plain h2o and added some Q&EW to it, but don't ask me about the ratio. I sprayed the wheels with it and all the dirt came off without hardly any effort. I also use this mix to clean the "inside" paint now.

GSRstilez - Thanks Sean! I like the first picture too.

It is a very nice color/car. Her soon to be husband has a new 6 series BMW - Maybe can I detail it? :D :D

I'll try to take "smaller" pictures next.

Thomas, what was her reaction when she saw the car??? That looks awesome for the garage there - no water, no power, you're giving me hope for my other car! :)

Thanks Jim - I just got finished when she came down to see how I was doing and said wow! She thought it looked brand new. THis morning I got a call from someone she works with and will do her 2004 black DINALI monday morning. I asked the lady if she has seen it yet. She said **no, but Erica says it is in show room condition**

I can't wait to work on your BMW - we will make it shine my friend!

Thanks Scottwax - actually it wasn't too bad to work there. The car being a '04 did help though. Unless I have to remove swirls by hand (I wouldn't even try) I actually like doing things by hand.

All in all it was a fairly easy detail.

Now tomorrow morning's 98 Tahoe may be a different story.
