Latest Detail v. The last detail on my 2003 Cobra...

03COBRA

I miss my 03 Cobra......
Hello everyone... I know I've been a ghost around here of late.

Anyways, looks like this might be the last detail on my Cobra. I'm looking into buying my own house or Condo. :wall So sadly but true the Cobra will have to go for now. I have to admit I have been neglecting the Cobra since I got my K6 GSX-R600. So I needed to step in a little on the Cobra and clean it up nice for the next owner.

So the car is for sale if anyone might be interested or knows someone.

My Process:

--Wash w/Zaino Z7

--Clay W/Optimum Clay

--HTEC/OP Mix via rotary and meguiars polishing pad @ 1500RPM

--Blackfire ceramic finishing polish via PC and Meguiars finishing pad @ 5

--Z6 wipedown

--Zaino Z5 ZFX'd X2

--Z6 wipedown

--Zaino Z2 non-Zfx'd

--Wheels were clayed, polished with Prime Strong, sealed with a 50/50 mix OCW/CJ

--Exhaust tips polished with Prime Strong

--Windows cleaned with ClearKote Quikshine

--Z16 applied to wheel wells, tires, and front and rear moldings

Now it's overcast and starting to sprinkle. I struggled with the WB on my camera.

I'm not usually a big mustang guy but man sweeeeeet ride. I'm sorry to hear that it has to go but that next owner is going to be very lucky especially since you take care of that car very well.

Good luck with getting that condo or house. :bigups

Your car looks amazing! The next owner should be more than impressed by how perfect the surface is, especially for a black car. I would be devastated if I had to sell such a beautiful machine.

I'm not usually a fan of black rims, but your car pulls it off very well. BTW, are those the Adams MF towels, they look exactly like mine?

Keep up the good work and sorry you have to sell that beast.

lp2137: I get a lot of people that say they are not Mustang fans, but like my car. That's almost better than people who already like Mustangs saying that. Thanks for the compliment, and thanks for the good luck on the house/condo.

02ZTSfocus: I hope the next owner is hapy with it. It's been a fun car. Yes they are Adam's towels, I have liked them for a couple of years now. I use Micro-restore on mine and it makes them so nice.

G35stilez: Thanks Sean, shipping would not be a problem.

How black is the night?

How black are the depths of the Marianas Trench in the Pacific Ocean?

How black is cave darkness?

Not as black as 04Cobra's 'Stang!

That is an incredible wet shine! :bigups :spot

Whaaaaaaaaat.

Your getting rid of the terminator?

Car looks absolutely beautiful. To bad your not around the East coast or I would be willing to take it off your hands.

Goodluck with the sale

Thanks guys for all of the comments. I really tried to make the pics show what I was seeing with my eye, and I guess it paid off.

I took this one today...

Nice !, sorry to hear it has to go.

The Tang is proberly the only thing Ford is doing right and one of the only affordable sports car around at an affordable price ...its a throwback to a time of that almost tangible American dream !

Is that a whipple I see on there? :getdown

No it's not a Whipple, I wish though. It's was painted black while it was out being ported. It's got a Stieg Stage IV port on it.

That's probably true. It's just sad though that the new Cobra is going for around 70K.

The snake looks great. I've wanted a Terminator since the first time I saw one, but alas, they cost money. :D Best of luck with the sale. If I were better off financially, you'd be loading that thing onto a trailer heading for GA.
