Had been missing the Mustang ever since I sold my '01 GT 'vert (about 2 years ago) when I bought my Cobra. So... started the search for a new 'stang earlier this year. Finally found one I liked... '05 GT 'vert, 22,000 miles, 5-speed manual, Torch red, black leather (& top), Shaker1000 audio. Only mods are the 20" rims, the Saleen "style bar", and the color-matched mirrors.

... after a pass with the clay bar & a coat of NXT...

some pretty serious correction is in order... lots of scratches in the clear. Tried Speed Glaze, then Dual Action Cleaner Polish, then Ultimate Compound... which worked, but still took 3-5 passes on the DA polisher. Is time to break out the rotary. As soon as I get a new wool pad, will try the Meguiars 105/205 combo.



at least it photographs well in the shade... tho because of the color, it's pretty blinding in direct sun- which hides a lot.

yea, a 1-1/2" drop would probably be about perfect... if only I could get the ambition (and money) to do it. With 2 other cars besides this, it's just not a real big priority right now. Maybe someday.
