Last night's Collinite experience

I did not think there was a big difference in appearance between the two. Maybe a bit more shine with the 845 but that is a maybe.

I never thought of the QD making much difference in the chemistry and I am not worried about it either :)

I noticed that slight difference but only until after the first few washes. FWIW I had the 476S and 845 on adjacent panels so I figure it was a pretty good comparison.

I dry the big stuff with a soft rubber squegee(sp?) and pat the rest with a cotton towel.

:bawling: Rubber squeegee and then cotton :scared::soscared::shocked

Talk about swirls:nervous:

I will take some close up pics of my paint. How do you best show off the swirls? Dark with a flash or sunlight? To my eye I see nothing much at all. Maybe since I do not use my squeegee in cirular motions :)

Well, *some* cotton is OK. Towels like the CBT/DFTowel are made out of cotton and they're as soft as my good MFs. My problem is that cotton always seems to eventually get stiff on me...must be my water.

Taking good pics of light marring is a real skill, one I've never gotten a handle on  Try flash in a dark room, or illuminate things with an incandescent bulb in an otherwise dark room. I tried to take pics of my M3's truly awful marring and looking at the pics you'd swear it wasn nothing major :nixweiss
