Last night Sopranos - Adams Polishes

During last nights Sopranos, there is a scene showing Pauly watching TV,
a few minutes past the mid-way point.

In the background you can see an Adam's Polishes infomercial.

I started to chuckle, and I pointed it out to my wife. She looked at me like I was just beamed down from the 'Mother Ship'.
 
Yeah i saw that and was like WTF. What was the deal with the infer red thermometer they appeared to be using?

They were measuring surface (paint) temperature.

I haven't seen the Adam's video, but I would suspect they're either talking about heat via rotary usage, or safe surface temps if you have to work in the sun.
 
I think the reading was 217F. EEK Look out if you're planning on doing anything to paint with that temp! :eek:
 
:lmfao I can't believe it.... only on DC would you find folks who paid more attention to the Adam's video in the background of the Sopranos than the show itself... :lmfao You guys are awesome!
 
We have some pretty amazing eyes here on DC. I've noticed members numerous times point out weird things in the background of detailing photos that would not be seen unless u literally went looking for it.
 
Yeah, I laughed out loud when I saw it. You see the Adams logo at the end right before they go to another scene. It was the scene when Pauly was watching TV and he got the call from Little Carmine regarding the amusement park ride accident.

Did you recognize who the host of the infomercial was? It was James Brown, the guy from FOX NFL Sunday pregame show.
