One of my very good clients contacted me this week and asked if I could help him out on this 2002 Buick Regal. It was owned by his wife's mother who recently passed, and they are settling the estate. The car was to be sold and he just wanted something really simple done to it no clay or anything, basically just a wash and good interior cleaning since she smoked. I normally don't do jobs like that, but he's a good client with a beautiful 71 Cuda that I get to maintain, so I said sure!
I only had a couple hours notice for this car, but I think it came out ok. I couldn't just wash it though.. I had to do SOMETHING to it lol.
I just recently started using P21S 100%, and I have to say I like it. Zaino is still my go-to choice, but the P21S spreads nicely and comes off very nicely (miles better removal than NXT or #26). This car was low miles, but it was in ROUGH shape. Definately needed heavy compounding and polishing. However, since they were selling the car and just wanted something quick and dirty (so to speak), I figured a decent 'nuba would do an ok job of masking some of the defects to make it look presentable *note: I don't like 'hiding' defects, but this was supposed to be a basic wash only*. This wasn't a spectacular job, but you'd never know it by looking at my client's wife's face when it was done. She was pretty happy when I did more than what they asked for too. Definately good for customer relations :xyxthumbs
