Lamborghini & Vanquish

Troy@Protekt

a.k.a. Troy@DetailCity
Did some more detailing for a new customer today.

I started both of these in the garage and it really gets your juices flowing.:dnaughty

The engines let out a big roar that is amplified in the garage. What was funny is that after I moved the Vanquish and was getting out my phone rang. My ringer is the James Bond Theme. :rofl

Products used-

- Four Star Wheel Cleaner Gel
- Meguiar's NXT Car Wash
- DP clay w/ Poorboy's Spray and Wipe
- FLEX with Four Star Eliminator orange foam pad and
Four Star LCC (still effective but less dust than
their Scratch and Swirl Remover)
- On the Lamborghini I followed with Four Star's white
foam pad and their Final Polish. (The paint was
very soft.)
- Four Star UPP by hand.
- Stoner's MSLT on trim. Works great at shining up
the mesh grilles that were all around.
- Stoner's Tire Coating

Here's some pics-

The Vanquish was pretty marred too but didn't take as much to make it right. I liked it best because I fit better in it. :D

Here's the Ferrari I did for him last Friday when I forgot my camera. :wall

Can't wait to see what he has for me next. :dnaughty

O i see you got your Flex  i bet you like it can see by the smile on your face:cheers:

This is the kind of Click and Brag thread that will cause me to "click". :) Nice cars!!! A couple of interior shots were certainly in order. Please don't disappoint in the future :lol2:

Way to give Sheila her props! Mrs. Clean is my "troubleshooter" when she is available. Her second look is a real benefit on glass as well as catching wax/sealant residue that wasn't completely removed.

My Ferrari customers always tell me to let it warm up before you move it because they are temperamental.

This customer was told by his mechanic that his cars need the "Italian tune-up" every once in a while. Which of course is taking it out and letting it's horses loose. :drive:

I might have to ask if I can help tune these cars up. :rockon

I got a little short with her today when she took an older microfiber towel and tried to help me wipe off the UPP from the Lamborghini.

The Lambo marred real easy so I told her not to touch it. She did anyways. :passout:

 :bonk:

I forgive her now though.

Troy...nice work and some great cars...thanks for posting...what dose this guy do for a living....drug dealer?:rofl

I haven't met the owner yet. I think he is the guy that invented the "flooglebinder".

Just kidding. I'm not gonna say who he is or what he does. Anybody know what movie I got the flooglebinder from?

I now down your way of the world, you have a lot of pro-sports and music celebrities...that would be my guess, either way...great score for a detail customer!

I would lose so much money doing those.

"Man where are all these water spots coming from? I just cleaned up all the last ones...drool" :idea

Nice work, man; I'm jealous of you though. The two nicest cars I've ever done were a black 2008 BMW M5 (around $95K) and a 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL550 Silver Arrow (starting at $112,000) both of which are total garage queens.

They are owned by two different people who are both very busy with travel. The BMW belongs to a guy down the street who travels a lot. The car spends more time parked in the warehouse than it does anywhere else. He bought it in January of last year and it barely has 5,000 miles on it. The Mercedes is a total garage queen; only driven on nice days, never in rain, and NEVER in snow. He bought it in May of '08, still under 1,000 miles. :wow:
