Lamborghini Murcielago, Trash Truck, & Lincoln Details

I just discover QEW and seems a lot of positive feedback toward this product. BTW....when you use QEW on Lambo (or other expensive cars), does the owner ask any questions about washing without the hose, freak out, concern about creating swirl marks...etc. ? It seems like it can really cut down the washing detail process though, however, can QEW wash without more marring?

Excellent works. :xyxthumbs

I know it is off topic but I really dislike your comment.

Why should he do anything for anyone? Is it mendetory for people with mucho money to be do gooders?

People can't even get along within families most of the time.

I see too many humans who are barely making it and are less than kind.

Anyways.....

ajbarnes - beautiful work on the SUV - looks very wet! Great job. The lambo is awesome. How is the paint on it? Hard, soft, how about OP?

Thanks for the compliments.

The paint seemed hard, which is why he definitely has a clear bra on the front to protect from chipping.

those tires on the Z71 and the lincoln are (imo) ABSOLUTELY perfect. not too shiny, not too dull ( what ya use..sorry if i missed it).

holy long throw shifter on the lambo....i'd have to shorten that down about 6 inches....if it were mine (yeah right).

I used Eagle One Wet applied with an EO swipe. Eagle one Wet and AA are my favorite dressings!:bow

Wow! Nice work! I recognize that #16 glow. ;)

The Murcielago is cool but I'm more impressed by the job you did on the Suburban, that thing was really nasty inside!

Thanks.

I couldn't get more pics of the interior, but you all should have seen the entire interior......:soscared:

:werd: I would think that he probably employs a lot of people, which to me is better than just handing out money.

Exactly.

He owns a manufacturing company that makes Land O Lakes butter, Purina pet food, and some other stuff. I also *think* he is in charge of HBO World Championship Boxing. He employs several people in his businesses, even outside his business to businesses such as my self, contractors, etc. who are small companies trying to grow. He seems as if he is always trying to help other's out...or in other words give back. IMO, I think the stereotype of the wealthy and any other stereotype for that matter is very unfair. This guy didn't get any handouts, he worked hard to be where he's at...I think he deserves everything he's got and then some.

Thanks for the compliments!

I explained to him about QEW and my wash method and he was fine with it. I use a two bucket method majority of the time, several MF's for washing and WW for drying...never had any marring problems. If a vehicle has excessive dirt, road salt, etc., I either resort to a hose and bucket wash, or I double up on the QEW solution with much more water in the second bucket for rinsing...still no marring. QEW is awesome!

Alot of my customer's are fine with me using QEW, but there are some who prefer the traditional method...so I make sure that I'm always prepared with car shampoo, etc.

AWESOME details AJ!!! :bow :xyxthumbs I would pay the owner to let me rub on that Lambo!! :D

You know I have yet to detail a Suburban whose interior wasn't in that condition!! It is the one type of vehicle that I can almost 100% of the time count on when I show up it will look like Barney exploded on the inside (especially in the waaay back 3rd row seat area).

Seeing is believing. That Lambo really makes my mind open about QEW. Thanks for the details and pics. Your hard work is being recognized. :up

New customers will ask me how I am going to wash the car but once I explain it to them, they seem satisfied...especially since most of my new customers are referrals.

I find I get less marring with QEW because it forces you to wash a smaller area at a time.
