Lamborghini Gallardo -330 pics- 5 day detail

Classic! I remember when I first saw this, thinking to myself that this was the most amazing writeup I'd ever seen. A couple years later and Todd's newer writeups have taken it to a whole new level, but this is the first one that got my attention. Glad to see it again.:rockon

I also remember when I first saw this. It was one of the first EXTREME details I read on a forum. I remember PM ing you a few questions as well. Solid work! I love it.

Not that we didn't all know it before, Todd, but I'll say it anyway. You're INSANE!

:rockon

Thanks, I will choose to take this as a compliment!

Loved it just as much this time as I did 2 years ago! Good Job!

Thanks Jeff!

Agreed. lol

Thank you :D

This is where the art of Batch Actions come into play..haha

Blah, batch actions are for people who work smart! :rofl

Amazing! Simply Amazing!!!

Thanks Troy!

Hence the title "330 pics" I'd say.... :bigups

Exactly!

This thread is a true..."56K Warning" :lmfao:lmfao

Yes the goal at the time was to be the most over the top detailed detail. Many write-ups nowadays are far more thorough but to my knowledge this was amongst the first.

Thank you so much for the compliments Mike!

Thank you BioTID!

Todd, did you dilute the SCG Total Grime Destroyer? Or did you run it straight?

Yes I cut it 2:1/water:product. It is the only way (that I know of) to get a fine mist pattern out of that sprayer (which ironically Angelo had given me several weeks prior).

Thanks for the info Todd. I bought some of it today and I have a sprayer like the one you was using. I heard this is one of the best things for removing tar. I have a bunch of tar on my rocker panels on my new Camaro thanks to all the road construction going on here in Indiana. I just wanted to know if I could dilute it in order to save product and money. Thanks again Todd!

and todd's pursuit of excellence goes on. as good as this was, you have only gotten better over the years todd. shine on !

Great job as always!!! I must say, not enough people put enough time into the wheel wells, you did an amazing job there!!! What dilution rate did you use with the Meg's Hyper-Dressing??

Lookin' good Todd! I can see you have kept your standards at the highest level even through trials.

Nice work. :D

I just saw this. Let's just say you have never failed to impress with your attention to detail. These type details are true commitments and tests of endurance.

I do remember this one for sure, you all think it looks great? you got to see it in person....just stunning! One bad a$$ Lambo that turns all heads and hurt necks. Thanks Todd for having me over one day on this beauty.:drool::drool:

All I can say is WOW! Todd everyone that knows me really thinks I'm OCD freak when I detail a car but your nuts man! Oh BTW your my idol on that black 458 I did similar to a red one via your step by step write up :bow customer loved it

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this up. The transformation and your attention to detail is awesome. Great job:cheers:

awsome work & documentation! if it was 760 pics i wouldve let my laptop freeze up 12 times just to get through till the end! todd you are the king of all writeups. a true story from start to finish of the work as its being done! great work! you even made the color matched wheels look sweet!

Oh My God!

No words of mine can adequately describe my thoughts as I went photo to photo until the end of the incredible detail. Each photo tells its own story of the car and what it took to restore this motoring legend to its rightful place in supercar history. :bigups

Todd, if I ever have the opportunity to detail a Lamborghini Gallardo it will be a piece of cake because I'll use this thread as a step-by-step guide and tutorial....:bow

Oh, and unless I'm mistaken it was all done with a rotary!! :bigups

Man thats a beautiful car, and like always you knocked it out of the park. I wish there were a few of those running around here :)

Thank you very much for the compliments on this thread. It was a long time ago, but I can still remember the detail several (3 or 4) years later. I wanted to do an over-the-top write up (back then) which in some ways spawned the over the top details that followed. Thanks again.

Simplesmente Increível como sempre e curto o post como a primeira vez!
Uma ves mais PARABEINS TODD!!:bow:bow:bow:bow:bow
