Haha, my buddy has a 700 whp Supra that ran a 12.6 at 136 or something crazy like that lol.

Most tend to use to big of a turbo so the power comes in too late to give a nice broad power band (turbo takes too long to spool up). It's more of a sudden power shot if you will, so despite the high power levels they don't tend to do so well at the track (highway differnt story). Now those who do know what they are doing can and will make killer power with them and have a nice broad power band. They have plenty of toque it's just there so a short period of time (when they use too big of a turbo). With the right turbo and the right parts and with a great tune to make it all work well together they are a force to be reckoned with.

The one I posted before runs 8's in the 1/4 miles so I'm a little confused.

Agree 100%. Ther are to many posers out now that just go after dyno numbers. Hell seems like more and more people are building nice "race" cars and then don't even knowor want to know how to race it
