Lake Pads - Is there a Difference Between CCS & "Hi-Gloss" CCS?

Was looking at several sites and happended upon a Lake Pad type labeled CCS "Hi-Gloss" in 6.5" diameter at ProperAutoCare. Has different edges and what looks like a backing across the entire pad. Colors & "appearance" of the correction surface seem the same as the Lake CCS I've seen elsewhere.

Wanted to know if anyone has experience with this pad-type & the other Lake CCS and what they found. :nixweiss

Just curious.............the choices seem infinite when it comes to pads & product!!

Thx.

See ya. :wavey:

That's about the only difference, more marketing/rebranding then anything else. They won't work any differently then the cheaper OEM version because the foam on both pads that does the work is the same.

Thanks. BTW, did you ever try the hi-gloss version? Looks like the foam is the same, but there is something different about the back construction & edge. The edge detail was what looked most interesting, maybe "safer" re: hitting the backing plate on the paint................oh, well, probably never notice as a beginner anyway .

See ya :wavey
