Lake Country Pads

Yes I would get a foam polishing pad to start and play around with that...wool is for heavier cutting..its creates heat and lots of it...I use it for polishing non-coated aluminum and cutting paint of imperfections...not saying that a good cutting foam pad will not its just the wool is the a tad better IMO

Hmmmm....I'm going to have to disagree on the heat. Wool pads have more cut than foam, but they run cooler on the surface of the paint. They won't heat the paint up as much as a foam cutting pad, which is a good thing. There are different levels of wool pads, just like there are different levels of foam pads. There are full wool (twisted wool) - heavy cut, split (wool/acrylic blend) - medium cut, lambswool - mild cut and LC's purple foamed wool.

yup :bigups

That is correct. Wool creates less heat. I use mostly foam on cars and wool on boats and rv's.
I use and like LC and four star pads.
