Lake Country Kompressor

Guys, a lot of the "innovations" in foam buffing pads are simply taken from other foam uses.

Foam is a biiiiiiiiig business outside of buffing.

Aren't those pockets burned into the pad?

Yes, foam felting is another thing that was around long before buffing.

HaHa - Satec - I really enjoy following your sub-par, less than stellar opinions on products/people over the ones you like. I'm still trying to figure out a base line to your background....

I think you guys should cut AB a little slack. Even though I didn't go back to his previous posts to form an opinion, I think it's obvious he was just joking when he mention another company stealing his company's idea.

But heck afterall, that's just "my" opinion.

Hey, who's to say AB didn't invent all that stuff? .

That was something done by a mutual customer, FWIW.

Mike (ABC) - Did you use to work for Lake Country prior to starting ABC?

for those running Kompressors, how is the pad holding up. I'm sure those *slices* don't go through the pad, but I suppose it could make them more suspectiable to foam breaking off due to the inherent design ?

I am planning to order a white & grey just to see what the hoopla is about. I can see how it handles panel profiles better. Gotta order a larger BP to boot however....

I have just finished converting one of our shops over to Kompressor pads, great pads to say the least. Our oldest pad has over 50 full detail on it and it's holding up well. We clean the pads 3-4 times a detail in a system 2000 pad washer.
