Ladies and gentelmen, the fist ever detailed Ferrari 458 Italia...

Jesse, that is just SICK!!!

That is definitely one BADA$$ car...

Still cant believe all of the issues these cars leave the factory with!

Good thing they have you to get the car on the right track! Nice work as always!!

Great work on a beautiful car. You know, I don't think I ever want to drive a Ferrari. Right now they're perfect in my mind, and I don't want to spoil that.

Awsome work I must say, its too bad these Ferrari's coming out of the factory have all those factory installed swirl and halogram options. The recent batch of California's that I had the opportunity to detail for Ferrari Of N.A. came with many paint defects as well......I feel your pain......lol:2thumbs:

2010 Ferrrari California's detailed by Innovative Detailing - Car Care Forums: Meguiar's Online

Maybe Giuseppe was enjoying his expresso and biscotti's and forgot he was polishing these gorgeous works of art. How hard can it be to finish those gorilla buffing marks off by jeweling the panels correctly......anyway, it just gives us the opportunity to correct them properly.......

Great job!

Great stuff Jesse!!, I see you answered my question....... new model same OLD problems. I was suprised to hear you say 106FA acted up on you as it is usually bullitproof?.

Jesse you dog! You told me that you had one coming, and you came through with your promise. Nice work as always my friend.

I've got a 599HGTE coming in a few weeks...it's on the water right now. :)

Been waiting for this car to show up on here. I just had a thought that you'd be the first to get it Jesse. Awesome work and man is that one bad a$$ machine. YOu got it looking right again.

I always enjoy your entertaining write ups Jesse. :LOLOL Nice work! :2thumbs:

That's the first time I've seen that car and OMG I love the front end! Sick!

Thanks mate! Make no mistake, the engine on these is what makes the car... all is forgiven in 3.4 seconds...

Thank you David! Just to give you an idea of why they can't finish the job: they have a total of 30 minutes to "detail" the car when it comes out of the automatic car wash... then it gets wrapped and shipped... I'll share some other interesting stuff with you later ;).

Thank you Bob!! Yeah, nothing's changed :). Though I did notice that the paint was slightly harder on this one than the others... dunno why. It felt more like a ceramic this time. OK not like Euro Audi dinner plate-style ceramic, but much harder to polish than usual. Or maybe that was just because of a 2 week break?

Ha, ha! Thanks Todd! We got a rosso corsa HGTE in last week, but unfortunately it's in GOOD condition... I guess Guido hasn't received my fruit basket yet...

is it difficult to prevent yourself from rubbing one off when you've worked on a car that down-right sexy??

How do you think the tailpipes got clean? :D

i don't know how i feel about this car yet..

It wants you to love it... and touch it. Just touch it... it's there for you to touch.

Jesse, seriously....seriously... ... ... ... crap I'm having a hard time forming basic sentences now!

Congrats on the first F458! (doesn't quite roll off the tongue like 430 though..) Great work as well. Good presentation of that Migliore wax too. I've re-read this thread 3 times now, and have linked a few friends too it. I may have to buy them drinks afterwards though, as I'm sure they all have messes on their desks to clean up LOL.

Superb work!
