Labor of love

Hey guys,

Delivered the car before my softball games last night. She was very happy! She was smiling ear to ear the whole time she was checking it out! She thanked me a few times during the rest of the night and was telling everyone about how clean her "new" truck was!! It felt really great to see her so happy!!

Thanks again for all the comments!!!

mose- Thanks for the heartwarming thread :xyxthumbs

From the great job you did (and the fact that you did it period) to hearing about her recovery, this was just super.

And yeah, nice save on that emblem!

Not all details have this kind of background story. It makes the turnaround even more fantastic. Thanks for sharing!

yes what did you use on the trim? and very nice job that thing looked gray and turned white! amazing job! :)

you da man :bigups

Wow, great job, that is not even the same truck anymore.

Excellent attention to detail as well as cleaning off all that green paint.

I'm sure she's very happy with that.

If yer talking about the trim around the windshield wipers I used KAIO and then PB Trim Restorer. If yer talking about the running boards I used just the Trim Restorer.

I am the owner of Mose's LABOR OF LOVE and I LOVE IT!!! I don't think my truck looked this good when I bought it!! It's beautiful and I almost hate driving it now cuz I don't want it to get dirty. : ))

I can't say enough about how wonderful this guy is! Thanks for the hard work you put into makin my little lady beautiful again!

BIG HUGS TO YOU, MOSE!!! --- T

Sadly, a few months back, this truck was totalled. Thankfully no one was hurt though! It was fun doing the truck regardless!

I have that same feeling in the back of my mind every time I do a freebie for a friend... I can just see them pulling into the street and getting t-boned... :yell:

Wow, I never got a chance to see this thread before. The internet doesn't need to know who it was, but did you end up finding out who did it and why? Was it meant for her, or was it just a random act of stupidity?
