Labor Day weekend detailing plans

What does everyone have planned for this weekend? I'm excited to have a Mercury Sable for a couple days for a full correction detail. I usually don't get to keep a vehicle for so long, so I'll have plenty of time to make it extra shiny.

Just my own car, but was planning on my fall / winter prep clay polish stages. It's a garage queen so there is not a lot of work

Well, I am done. Xterra got coated early in the week. And washed this morning. Calling for rain (chance of) S/S/M. So i can just kick back and enjoy the rest of my vacation. 3 days left! Where did it go? :(

I was planning on doing a wax on my car, but now that I orderd Opti Gloss Coat, I'm going to just squash those plans and wait a few weeks to do a full correction and coating. Now instead, finally watch Wolf of Wall Street, the rest of the Simpsons marathon, and hang with my wifey, dog and cat and friends!

Also, i'll be waiting to hear your labor day sale to decide which site i purchase from, so make it good, i want acc points... :)

I will be doing some inverse detailing by driving up to twin cities and back and saying hello to a few bugs with the front end of the car. :yikes: To add insult to injury, I haven't been able to wash my car in 2 weeks with details the last 2 weekends and lots of rain in between. Hopefully Sunday or Monday I'll be able to get a 2BM in.

I haven't washed either vehicle in 2 weeks - I'm starting to go through withdrawals! I'll be getting up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to wash the Accord and the Civic. We'll be taking one of the vehicles on a short road trip to Orlando for the weekend so they have to be clean. ;)

As with every other weekend wash, I'll be testing new products and comparing them to existing products. I love my job....:rockon

I got some boat detailing done this weekend. If the weather cooperates I hope to get a quick wash in on my Ram.

I hope to finally get a day off from detailing tomorrow. I am so sick of detailing right now I could barf, choke on my vomit and die

washed my 2000 ford f150 and laid down a coat of dp poli-coat by hand. good stuff, easy to use.

I hadn't really had plans to do a single thing detailing wise since it is going to rain all week. However, the Jetta had not been washed since July 4th and it had been though a 2K mile roadtrip in the rain and countless rains here (yea I know, I know...) so I got my lazy behind out there and did a thorough wash on it. The Equinox hadn't been washed since June? Either way it was due for a good scrubbing too. The headlights were getting foggy so those were cleaned up with PB's Pro Polish and followed with EX Sealant. The roof is in early stages of CC failure (even with countless sealants/etc...) so it got a quick pass with Pro Polish and EX Sealant as well. It came out about 70%, but I was not going to go any stronger than that.
