Knee Surgery

I`m not too far from you - 15 screws and 1 plate, all by the time I was 21! I will be adding a couple more screws and some hardware by the end of the year for my knee.
 
Back to knees...oh man, now my lifelong BFF has to have her R knee operated on next Friday. One of those "little household falls" that nobody worries about. Athletic gal who`s never had a problem like that in her life, but now that life`s different...for at least the next six months. Totally [screwed] it up.

Wonder how many more staples you`ll do without as it heals up...looks like a couple might`ve just been "better safe than sorry".

And yeah..that card become one of those "don`t leave home without it" things.

They used a combination of glue and staples in my head (left eye brow to the back of my neck). Where the staples were the skin is raised, but where they used glue the scar is flat or even a tad indented.
