Knee problems and Detailing. HELLPPP!!!

I have a weird problem. Maybe some of you guys with bad knees/arthritis can help me. I am looking for something that would allow me to move around while sitting or lying down. The reason is, I blew out my knee in June (more like dislocated it 2.5" and obliterated my ACL) playing cricket and have to wait till Dec. for surgery. This means that I can't get down on my knees nor can I squat, because both put too much pressure on the knee resulting in excrusiating pain. I did an overall detail with my new PC and it came out well, the problem was I think I rushed the bottom too much and I can't doo the wheels at all. Ugh. Anyhelp would be appreciated.

One of the best rolling stools I have read about is the Kreepstool, it is expensive, but here is a thread with more info:

I sometimes use something like this Harbor Freight version:

Or this one:

I'm sure that the Kreepstool, from reading user reviews, will roll around easier than the cheaper versions.

You can also find similar items at Sears and I'm sure several other places if you look around.

Edit: PedroDaGr8, I just noticed that you are in Lexington.... there is a Harbor Frieght located up on Winchester Rd. if you want to look before you buy. Good luck with your surgery, hope everything goes well!

Thanks for the replies, I am all too familiar with that HF, a poor college student like me gets a LOT of tools from there. I said hey to you in a thread in the MW forum. I guess you didn't see it. It is good to see someone else from Lexington here, I'm born and reaised here myself.

Sorry, I must have missed that...... I wasn't born here but I've lived here for about 30 years..... geez.... time flies when you're having fun.....

I like HF for tools that I will seldom use, or might only need one time. Other things, like those stools, really aren't too bad. Most of the time I use a Rubbermaid Step Stool/Tool Box to sit on that I bought years ago. It might not work too well for you since you'd have to keep moving it.
