I applied Klasse AIO and over a 5 week period I have applied 5 coats of SG. In between washing before I apply the SG I have been using Final Inspection & Poor Boys Wash as a QD.



My question does the Final Inspection & Poor Boys wash hinder the application of the SG? I have Final Detail but I am of the opinion that FD would hinder the application of SG and might not wash off!



One thing I have noticed on my 350 Z Redline "Red" that the color seems to be much darker with each additional coat of SG. To me it appears have a deeper shine, which I think looks great. I do not intend on putting any topper, just more SG as the mood moves me!

The Klasse does seem to somehow add a darker tint to the red, I think it looks nice, espically on GM's red/orange paint ;)



The Meguiars FD would hinder the Klasse application if it contained any sort of wax. I usally send an e-mail to the people who make the product and ask them if their product contains any waxes or silicones rather than guessing.
 
fd doesn't contain silicone or wax, so its great to use in between layers of klasse. I use meguiars final detail, or ill use my homemade klasse qd.
 
The label on FI indicates it is paintable so I am assuming it conatins no silicones or wax whereas FD does not say this. Based on this fact I am using on FI as a QD so I do not have to worry about the application of Klasse SG.



I am also assuming Poor Boys Wash would be okay as well, but I am not sure?

FI is perfect for between coats of SG and is what I use. It is my understanding that FD does contain silicones so it shouldn't be used between coats.

I had the same question a while back and emailed Megs. FD does contain silicones and should not be used in between coats of SG.
