Ok, I found a good supplier that can get me the product for a good price (eshine.ca), and was wanting someones opinions on how this works with hand application.



Will there need any polishing before I put it on? Does if fill swirls good? Can it remove some small scratches? I was wondering if it would be good to use on customers cars?



Also, will their high gloss glaze be hard to remove if it only sits for a hour or somthing?



Thanks, I couldn't really find anything on the polishing thing, and couldn't find any good pictures. Thanks in advance.
 
Always begin with a complete clay barring. Polishing your paint would be best to remove swirls and other paint blemishes before applying any finish products. Polishing will only enhance AIO's final appearance.



AIO won't fill swirls. AIO is applied wipe-on wipe-off. By hand is just fine, but only use a very little bit - thinner is better and use Eagle One Wipe and Shine as an applicator pad "primer" as it helps to keep the AIO layer thin and easy to spread. Better to do 2 thin coats, because the second will catch the places you missed the first time. If whatever polish you use has fillers, AIO will remove them. You didn't mention Klasse's SG - buy it also, since that is where a really sick shine comes from. 3 layers of SG a minimum of 24 hours apart, also wipe-on wipe-off. The SG will help minimized damage from bug juice, tree juice and bird juice. Great UV protection as well. Your choice to end with SG or top with wax, just remember once there is any wax, SG layering will end. After wax, you will need to AIO use again because AIO will remove wax, SG and AIO.



Do a search for "BillNorth" (no space) and be prepared to spend the evening reading. He is the site's Klasse authority
 
AIO can be applied by hand. Apply 1 thin coat, do not buff, apply a second coat, then buff off w/ a towel

SG can be applied in a wipe on/off fashion with no wait time.
 
SG can be tricky to apply in the traditional method. BillNorth's Wipe on/wipe off method seems to have rejuvenated SG's popularity lately.



I used AIO almost exclusively for paint cleaning. However, as Gonzo said, it cannot remove swirls. It's excellent for oxidation and just ground it dirt or smears.



The AIO/SG combo is very long lasting. However, SG doesn't appear to be the best for dark cars. Doesn't give it the depth or wetness that a good carnauba can, and that's why many top the SG with S100 or other non-cleaner carnaubas.
 
Don't rely on SG's swirl filling abilities. It is very minor and won't hide much but the very finest, lightest ones.
 
Buick-Guy- Yeah, don't rely on AIO/SG to remove or fill in any marring. Use a mildly abrasive polish (maybe 3M's PI-III MG, pn 05937) to remove/reduce the marring first.
 
Using ScratchX like that might just introduce more hazing. Its pretty abrasive stuff. If you are looking for something you may be able to use by hand then I would check out Meguiar's #9. That is much easier to work with and will not mar the surface at all.
 
Meguiar's #9 is available through stores. That's where I get mine. I get it at AutoZone usually. If you email Meguiar's and ask them if they have any distributors in your area then you can probably get your hands on most of their line of products. 3M Swirl Mark Remover is about on the same level as #9 is. Perhaps you can find that. These aren't exotic products that are hard to find generally. I don't know about their availability in Canada, but if you can get Meguiar's at all then you should be able to locate a distributor.
 
Ok, I'll check out part source, or some other auto store. I can't wait to try this stuff. I really want to get rid of some swirls on the blazers door, and the hood of the buick.





Maybe I'll even do the Infiniti if my dad ever comes home. :(

You really are expanding the site!! That's good to see!! In an earlier post you asked for what other products people might like to see. It seems that the 1z and menzerna lines are pretty popular, so they may be a possibilty for you to add as polishes. Wolfgang may be another sealant you can stock, and the 303 line of cleaners may be good for your interior section of the store.



Just some thoughts for you...

We will get more products soon. We have a master plan and schedule we are following. We plan on being Canada's largest and cheapest source. 1z, Wolfgang and Menzerna will definately be considered. We would like to not carry nay products that are readily available such as Meguiars, and 303(Zellers carries it). Just keep an eye open! Bill, how to you like the site? Is it overall appealing and easy to navigate? Your opinion is important.

The website is good. It's easy on the eyes (which is important), and easy to find all the products sold. But as your product lines increase you may want to consider how you organize things. The most popular format is the one started by CMA with the side menu of choices by either product type, car area, or manufacturer. That format will allow for quicker navigation to the products sought after by the customer.



Those are just some thoughts. Good job on getting your site up and running. I'm sure you guys will make a killing!

Bill, your right, I will have to do that now. I just picked up almost the whole P21S line and also some 303. Ill be adding it to the page shortly!
