klasse sg then mothers?

Just did my Volvo this weekend (dawn,clay,smr,aio,sgX2) and will put another coat of sg on this weekend. I want to put a carnuba topper when I finish...do I need to let the SG cure? Also, I have a bottle of Mothers California Gold Pure Carnuba liquid wax...it is about 5 years old but never opened. Looks fine, is it still ok, and is Mothers pure carnuba an appropriate topper after Klasse (I have it so it would be nice to use it).

I would read the Mother's bottle and see if it has cleaners in it.



How was the bottle stored for the past 5 years? Was it exposed to extreme heat/cold? If so I would not use it.



If you have a Harley dealer around your area some S100 will be on my list over the Mother's, $15 for a can.

The Mother's pure carnauba has no cleaners in it. Go ahead if you would like to use it. Their wax with cleaners is simply called Cleaner Wax.
 
The mothers wax has no cleaners in it, so it should be fine over whatever you want..



Five years isn't that long- heck just last night I drank a whole bottle of grape juice that was older than that! It made me feel kinda funny tho..
 
For best results I would wait the 24 hours for the SG to cure properly before topping it with anything. Mothers pure carnuba would look great on top of SG. Just make sure that you are done with your layering of the Klasse. Once you put down that carnuba, your layering days are over. You can't put SG over a carnuba.
