Klasse SG application?

Sweeeems

Clay is magic
I just got a bottle of Klasse Sealant Glaze, gonna try it out but i had a few questions for those of you who have used it:

1) Will using this after Pinnacle Finishing Polish enable a good bond with the paint? (I don't have Klasse AIO and I really like Pinnacle FP)

2) Bottle says 2oz will cover the whole car - is this true?!?! and what method do you apply it with? Just a small wax pad or do you use a PC?

3) How long do you wait to take it off? Do multi coats improve depth/durability? (i'm guessin yes)

I'm sure all of this has been covered before so thanks to anyone who doesn't flame me for not searching ;)

As long as your prep work doesn't contain any fillers or waxes then it should work fine. I don't know about Pinnacle Finishing Polish, so you'll have to either do the dreaded search or just wait for someone who has used it. ;)

2 oz really is enough to cover the car with. These are the Jngrbrdman instructions: Just apply some to a dry applicator and wipe it on the car. The key is to do a really really really thin layer. If you can see it on the paint then you are using too much. Wipe it on in straight lines in the direction the wind goes over the car.

Once you have applied it you should wait 45 minutes for it to dry. That will make it easier to buff off. When buffing it off I use a damp microfiber in one hand and a dry microfiber towel in the other. The damp one has a bit more bite and grabs the SG off the surface better. Then I use the dry one to wipe up any streaks. It is important that the 'damp' towel isn't dripping. Spraying it with some QD is damp enough.

Remember, thin is the key word here. If you apply too much then you will be regretting it when it when you get to the buffing stage. Any more than just a really thin layer is just wasted product. Good luck!

I use a dry, round cotton applicator that I bought from pepboys or walmart, I can't remember. Like stated above, the key is to keep it really, really thin. You may feel like you aren't using enough product, but trust us, you'll thank us for it. (I found out the hard way) That stuff doesn't come off very easily if you use alot. haha. as far as buffing, I actually do the same slightly damp microfiber followed by dry microfiber method. Probably because that was what was suggested by several individuals;)

I find either wiping it off right away (WOWO) or waiting overnight to remove are the easiest ways to remove SG. It seems like the time in between SG is very tacky to remove. But the damp MF towel should do the trick as well.
