Ok, thanks Josh! I guess now I'm wondering if I can just put pure KAIO in a sprayer to make it even easier to spread? I guess the best thing for me to do is to quit guessing and just try it :grinno:

You can mix AIO with water to make a passable QD (one or two oz. AIO in a 16 oz. sprayer, add water) . . . the cleaning power is diminished to the point where it works well to clean a sealed surface, but it doesn't seem to degrade the underlying SG.



However, if you're talking about diluting AIO and still using it in it's "pre-SG paint cleanser" capacity, that's probably not going to work as you intend. You can spray your pad or applicator with a bit of water to improve spreadability, but you don't want to dilute the AIO appreciably . . . it won't clean as well as it does when used straight up.

AFAIK, none of the Klasse products stain trim.

I actually apply AIO and SG to the grained black trim on my Ford Focus. I read it on here and I tried it. It isnt glossy but, it doesnt run down the side of the car (like dressing does) when it rains.

5 coats to see a finish? I never noticed that before...I usually see a real good look after 1-2.

Yep. I'm sure the protection is there, and sure, its "shinier", but to achieve the depth and wet look that I like it takes quite a few *thin* coats to get there.



I remember Accumulator saying he applied a very large amount of SG to one of his cars one time too.



I, personally, don't like SG. I use it on my wheels, but that's about it.

Thanks Tort! I was wanting to put the KAIO in a spray bottle to make spreading it evenly easier for me. Your suggestion of wetting the applicator pad with water helped a lot. I'm also trying to remember that less is more with KAIO.

Other than looks are there any differences between Klasse and Werkstatt.



I think Werkstatt looks really good on light colors but Klasse looks good on more colors.

Yes; worked great for me. Polycharge some Acrylic Spritz and/or Acrylic Glanz to go with it, and keeping the car looking great is simple and fast.

polycharged AIO and SG and Acrylic glanz are an awesome combination
