Klasse question please....

Last August I applied Klasse per the application guide (actually used the AIO and then several ...probably 3 top coats). Car was stored under a carport and car cover until June and resides under the carport....driven only occasionally. Question is should I reapply and if so should I go through the whole process (Clay, AIO, and top coat) again or just top coat? It actually beads like I put it on yesterday...do I really need to do anything?

Thanks,

Nic

I would evaluate the condition of the paint before you do anything. It sounds like your car is not out in the elements very much if at all so I would think that paint would be in pretty good condition.

Use a zip lock bag as a glove to feel the paint after it has been washed and dried. If it still feels smooth I wouldn't clay it. If it is still beading to your satisfaction and it looks great I would leave it alone. Unless you want to put more layers of SG on.

Thanks for the reply...that is kind of what I wanted to hear and wanted to do if it were appropriate. The car is a 38000 mile 1990 Buick Reatta Select Sixty in pristine condition.

It has only been out from under the car cover for a couple of hundred miles and approx 3 months this season of which 95 % of that time it was carported. Still doesn't mean that it may not have picked up some fallout or other contamination. I will clean and try the baggie thing which I was unaware of and add some SG.

Thanks again,

Nic

The baggie will allow you to feel any contamination on your paint that you would not normally feel with your bare hand. With that low milage you are probably fine to add more SG. Did you use the application guide from the bottle of SG?
