Klasse good and bad

Klasse is a great product and gives excellent results, and it last a good six months, thats the good. The only bad thing about it is having to wait 6 months or so to reaply it. I actually enjoy putting it on agian. I love to detail my cars frequently, it makes me feel as though i am actuly doing somthenig to better the look of the paint and with Klasse ,i have to wait.. Well one thing gained from all of this, is that it works great!

You don't have to wait 6 months. You can always apply another coat of SG once the previous one has cured fully (usually 1 week wait). Some members on here have applied 20+ layers of SG. I personally stop at three and just admire the shine.

I have put 5 coats and dont see any reason for more. Thats what i mean, now i just have to wait.

You can always top with a cleaner-free high quality carnauba to enhance the shine and depth beyond the ordinary Klasse appearance whenever you feel the need to do some detailing. You'll probably be surprised with the improvement.

I guess that would be better than just washing and drying. How many layers of carnuba wax is ok without getting film build up.

I rarely layer carnuabas but use a good QD after each wash for 3-4 weeks (~ 30 days). Most carnaubas are near the end of their lifecycle at this point so the potential of a "build-up" film with a monthly application is minimal. JME (just my experience)

I like to put 3 to 4 coats of SG on and then top it often with P21S. I can see the difference it makes as I move around the vehicle applying P21S over the Klasse SG. I suggest you try it and then you can wax more often.

Why not throw on a frequent SG coat? I used to do it because Klasse did not provide me a slick finish post wash. Nothing like a fresh layer to slick it up again, but that's what I like. I initially topped with Blitz, Pinn Paste, and Souveran, but preferred the option of tossing on another SG layer. I have yet to try Bill's method, but that can only make it a more pleasant experience. I needed to feed the detailing frenzy and doing it this way helped, was it about "to gain or not", nope.

Once you decide there is enough SG, you can always add a couple of PUPP layers over it for an extremely silky finish (Personally I think the PUPP is so slick it might give me 0.01 faster in the 1/8th :D ). See my "Woo Hoo" post in Brag forum.

I guess I don't see how it is a bad thing that the product lasts so long. :nixweiss Most people would look at that as a good thing I would think. I guess if you enjoy the process then waiting for it to fall off is a bad thing. I'm like that too. That's why I usually end up polishing it all of a couple times a year. I use Klasse in the winter and other products in the summer. I test so many things in the summer that I never have something on long enough to see it wear off. I get a little anxious around February to get started on it. Winter just lasts too long around here. We get snow all the way into April sometimes.

I feel you. So, to feed my need to detail, I do other people's cars.

I've done my girlfriends, my dads, 3 of my friends, and more to come (since I topped my Klasse SG).

I just add a coat of SG when ever I think it needs it or I get the urge to detail. I haven't gone more than a month without adding a coat since I started using Klasse. I just use it like a wax.

or you can just run down the street put a layer of SG on other ppls car, like middle of the nite and no one on the block i would just.........
