Klasse and Trim

I'm getting ready to Klasse Twin my new car and have a question about trim. Should I avoid my trim with AIO or SG, or maybe even mask it? I'm not sure what the effect will be and don't want to experiment.

Also, the best I have for trim at the moment is some 5 year old 303. Will that do for now?

Thanks! :)

AIO/SG will not harm trim. Some members intentionally use both on their trim. I've used AIO on my trim before, and topped it with Paste Glaz. It's actually one of my favorite ways to protect my trim. No ill effects that I've noticed.

Thanks very much. This forum continues to be the most helpful place on earth. :dance

I'm not so sure that AIO is safe for all trim material (particularly if it dries); certainly SG is. I haven't been using AIO that long so I'm not the best source for this...I'm just saying that I have some spots on textured plastic and rubber that I think may be AIO...although they may be something else that I used prior to the AIO.

That's possible. I'll say this then:

Try AIO on an inconspicuous spot of the trim first. Apply and wipe off right away. If there are no ill effects, continue on without worry.

Yeah, don't let the AIO dry on the trim or you might get some staining.

I have run into a few cases where the Klasse twins didn't work out on black textured trim, but not too many.

It worked great on the WRX and works great on the MPV except for the wiper arms. Oh, and it doesn't work on one piece of black plastic trim (above the rocker panels near the bottom of the rear doors) on the Audis. Used to work on the Audis but not after the piece in question got weathered a bit.
