Klasse AIO on windows?

After cleaning my glass with a glass cleaner, I try to polish it with KAIO. Glass is suppose to be tough, so am I just being silly using KAIO on glass? Are there any real benefits to this?

Using AIO on glass was a common practice among Autopia members a few years ago, but just slowly went away with time. There's nothing wrong with it, and it will certainly make them shinier, and also bead water for better visibility. It's not a *must do*, but will definitely make them look a little better.

I also remember when using Stoners IG with steel wool was also common practice, lol.

it will clean the glass well...

but it will not polish glass (remove defect)

IMO it is too mild to remove defects on paint, but is a good chemical cleaner

Leaves an unpleasant film in my experience, I've heard using SG is better for protection purposes.

Ah film! I recently decided to FK425 my windows and speaking of film, the windows fogged up on the outside. What a hazard that was, like driving half blind. lucky I was able to clean it off with water and that solved the problem. maybe something other than glass cleaners should be left for the summer....

Nope...you're being smart!

Chemically removes water-spots and other contaminants, leaves them glossy and protected, beads well and easy to clean next time. :woot2:

What's silly about that? :nixweiss

i use KAIO on my interior and exterior windows, it leaves a truly clean and glossy shine and it's easy to clean with a glass cleaner afterwards.

My glass cleaners remove the (minimal) stuff that KAIO leaves behind, but they sometimes do so *incompletely*, which can make for less-than-spotless glass (because of the residual KAIO). So I've pretty much quit using stuff like KAIO on my vehicles' glass.
