King Of Porsche's

Did this detail for the Porsche dealer. I was unable to take it outside and give it a proper detailing, but then again I don't wish to drive a $500,000 car!

For that much money though I was rather dissappointed in the fit and finish, but then again it is hand-made, lots of orange peel, unfinished areas.....but then again with some 600 HP and 0 to 120 in 9 seconds....who cares, eh?

OK, I'll shut up, here are the pics....there are only indoor pics, sorry about that.

Sweeet ! I'm not to keen on that batmobile look but the rest of the car is real sweet. I really like that interior . That wing looks like it pops up and down , probably looks nicer down . For $500 beans I want everything right , not the fruit look for a paint job. Nice job Anthony :bigups and how do you like that Optimum liquid sealer ?

Wow! That's awesome Mr.Orosco. The dealer certainly got the right man for the job. If I ever had that much money to buy a car that Porsche would be the one. That truly is a super sportscar.

Whoever decides to buy it will be given my card (anyone who buys it in Texas that is) and told to contact me because the paint on the hood needs to be wetsanded to remove a few creases in the paint. Kinda scary wetsanding a half millon dollar Porsche hood but to get it looking right it should be done.

The new Optimum sealer works amazingly well....I am very impressed with this stuff so far. Amazing depth and gloss. I will post where it can be bought in a few days.

Thanks Rabbi, appreciate the kind words:) I have a few pictures of the engine I'll post up later as well.

Even though the GTC is my least favorite super car its nice but cant compare to the Ferrari Enzo. The SLR is nice to but isnt in the real supercar class in terms of performance.

Great job on the detail

Well, who else could they call to detail the King of Porsche's but the King of Detailers?!!

Great job, Anthony!! :bigups :bow :bigups :bow :bigups

It's nice (but very disappointing) to know that $ .5 mil, doesn't exclude you from the "fruit" of the month paint club. But I guess if you're going fast enough, nobody can see it! I just can't imagine wet-sanding the hood, though!! Nervous City!

sweetttttttttttt!!! anothy you monster!!! ahh thats such a nice car! i would be terrified to touch that thing....... well i think we know one thing for sure. this wont be happening to the owner anytime soon... :notpossib

great job!

Sweet car and nice job. Looks like the car just came out of the paint booth. Noticed the shifter is kinda high. I'm sure it falls right into your hand, but it sure does look odd.

Great looking work and car, is it just me or does that gear shift seem really high up on the consol?

half a mil for a car WOW!!!

Anthony waht happen to Fran? Is she still band from the Porsche Dealer? :lmfao Nice work. Did you start it up?

When are we going to do a GT40?

Incredible car !!! I wonder what it would take to arrange a test drive? Probably a recent bank statement with a lot of zeros !!!

Wet sanding the hood. I bet you will really take your time taking out the peel !!! Good Luck !!!

Hey thanks all for the good words......appreciate that.

If I ever were to wetsand this beast I would definitely use, as Ron so wisely stated, 3000 grit. I am sure that would take care of the orange peel, although the paint crease or sags might still be in the paint but not as noticable.

Heck I would just love to run a buffer across the paint on this baby :)

Ron- Fran is only allowed to detail cars at the KIA dealer, you know that!

Take care all,
Anthony

Anthony,
Congrats on being called by the Porsche dealer to detail the Carrera. :bigups for doing the work by hand. As you said with 0-120 in 9 secs who cares about the overall finish of the car. I thought when a car accelerates with this kind of velocity the paint starts to peel off the car. So you maybe the next time you detail the Carrera you car will be bare carbon body panels.

Clean Dean,
Many people a bank statement with lots of zeros. I think you mean lots of zero and commas and a large number in front of the zeros and commas.

Eric

Anthony I saw that the KIA dealer is having a $99.00 down sale this weekend. I guess Fran will be to clean my van for me.
