Kenworth Tractor detail...

Clean Dean

Keep it clean !!!
Started this baby at 7:00 AM yesterday and between myself and my assistant we did not stop until 2:00 PM. Wheels, tires and undercarriage were washed and scrubbed with magichem's Red Heat before powerwash. The paint was clayed and polished with Automagic XP then waxed with Ibiz wax. Tons of aluminum, chrome, and stainless on this badboy. The brightwork was completed with a combination of Flitz, Mother polish, and Turtle wax chrome polish.

How do you like the Mother's Polish? Funny thing is there looks to be a fleet of those suckers! I'm guessing this brings in good revenue as long as you have an assistant and the right equipment!

The Woob,
Mothers polish is excellent for projects like this, but is slightly abrasive and I would not use it on a highly polish aluminum. Like a brand new street rod. On highly polished aluminum I would use a product like Flitz or Simichrome.

Outstanding! Hey Dean, did you dress the inside wheel of those dually wheels too? It sure looks like it! :mohawk

Beautiful job Dean :bigups

But now you are getting me in trouble, my drivers see your posts and ask me why I don't do that to their trucks :lol

Excellent work!

Not really much room to work with that short of a wheel base. Looks like a great in town truck. Must have a lot of brushes to get at the frame rails.

It would be a distinct pleasure to be employed by someone who takes care of a tractor like that musch less own one that looks like that. I know how muchy work there is to produce results like the pictures show.

My hat is off to you!
