Kenotek products - anyone use them?

Been spending time on this and many other detailing forums....I keep coming across manufacturers I'd never heard of before. Seems there are a million companies making car care products. Read some good reviews about Kenotek Anti-insect cleaner.....and started wondering if anyone on here uses their products...if so, which ones and how do you like them?

I've been using Kenotek's anti-static show room shine detail spray (rolls right off the tongue) primarily as a drying aid for the last few weeks, and it does reduce dust collection noticeably, at least for a day or so. I also use it as an interior hard surface cleaner just because the smell is quite nice.

Annoyingmouse:

1. what state are you in?

2. when you write "it does reduce dust collection noticeably, at least for a day or so" do you mean just normal dust/air pollution or that yellow/green stuff called pollen?

South Texas.

Dust, pollen, lint, pet hair, or whatever else is riding the wind. Kenotek reduces the cars static for a little while which means it's not actively grabbing debris out of the air. It won't stop anything from landing on the car, but it may allow it to blow off easier. I live in a particularly dusty farm town, and by the end of the week my car will usually be pretty dusty all the same whether I apply and buff sealer\wax to dry paint, or apply it via drying aid, but the Kenotek stuff does keep it cleaner the first day or two.

I have also used Kenotech Showroom Shine as a drying aid. Very slick. Can't say I noticed a huge difference in dust although it is pollen season here in Central Tx. Of course, when isn't?

We've tested many of their products here and have come to this conclusion:

Kenotek - Coming Soon to Autopia-Carcare.com

I'll try to get a few reviews out here soon, their products should be available on the site in a few days.

Great news. I've heard good things about some Kenotek products. Look forward to trying them.

Yes, they make great products. I have used anti-insect, leather and vinyl conditioner, etc. with great results. Really, really like them.

^^^It works great down here with all the Florida bugs...and it was love bug season too!, so I'm going to say that you are not going to be disappointed in its performance.

Thanks...I've heard about the legendary 'love bugs' of Florida....if it can tackle them, it can tackle a Jersey mosquito
