Well, I've had my car for about a year, and all I've done so far is just regular washing it by hand. I've been somewhat ignorant as to needing to do more, and with Christmas coming up, as well as reading on detailcity for a while, I figured I would ask people to get me some stuff to detail my car with for Christmas. I really don't know a whole lot, so I was just wondering what products you would suggest for basic maintenance of the exterior?

I have some pictures of my car in my photo gallery. It is a 1996 Black Mustang GT.

For black, i would definitely ask for Pinnacle Souveran or liquid pinnacle.

Hi-Temp Light Cut(Mild Polish)

I also like to use Klasse AIO with 4*UPP. What a combo! I've never used Pinnacle Souveran, but at $60 a pop, I would definitely let someone buy it for me!

I used Klasse AIO and 4Star UPP this weekend, great results. I would also strongly reccomend getting Victoria Concours Wax. You can get the Winter Mystery Package and you will not be dissapointed. I had great results with the wax.
