Just received Sonus DAS pad kit, Orange pad "cut" return or no return?

Just got my DAS pad kit from autopia and it looks like there's a cut in the side of the orange pad spanning from the top of the pad through to the contact center The cut seems to be about 5mm deep. Is this something I should worry about or should i call and seek a return / new one? Ideally a new one would be great, but return shipping is annoying and I was kinda planning on doing a little detailing next weekend.

I would think this might impact the longevity of the pad. What do you think?

I am sure the Autopia store will retify the problem. You have no worries.

That's for sure. David just called me back and man did we have a long reminiscing moment . . . talked about Klasse, the Sonus line and Cornell Univ. where I go to school.

Great guys to deal with and a top notch product. I can't wait to try them out on my new car.

Yea Dave is the man! I bought some products and somehow one of the Klasse bottles "neck" cracked and leaked. He sent me a new one right away and I should be getting it today in the mail. I will be definately buying from him again :)...

I was surprised at how well they packaged all of their products. All of the bottles were shrinkwrapped and the box was of good size with plenty of peanuts. Honestly I haven't ordered from these guys since 2000 when the sales division was still run by CMA. Why? Well because I've been using Klasse the right way :P I still have 3/4ths of my original 33oz bottle after doing 3 cars for 5 years twice each year.

Back in the day, I purchased lake country pads from them with my orignal PC, however since then, I've sold it once I went to college (absolutely no time to use it) Now I purchased a 7336 last winter from Lowes for $83 with tax and just needed a new pad kit. From the reviews I've read here, the sonus DAS pads seem to be the thing to try. Anyways I'm glad I ordered from them and can't wait to try out the sonus polishes and pads.

Yes everything was very well shrinked and boxed with peanuts. I also purchased Klasse and the Sonus pads/plate from Dave.

Wow you got ur PC for $83 with tax? I thought I got a deal @ $92 with tax haha oh well...

I got the first set of SFX pads and I used them once and the SFX-2 and 3 tore up! I emailed Dave and he sent me new ones no cost and didn't even make me send back the bad ones. The new ones rock!
