Just picked up some M21..couple questions

it was my first time...
Hello:
Yesterday I ventured out to a pretty decent sized detailing store(Pals Automotive) that was about 35-40 mins away from my house. Anyway I went there to pick up some Meguiar's cutting pads which they didn't have in stock till next Tuesday :( , so I didn't want to make the trip a complete waste so I picked up an 8 oz. bottle of Meguiar's #21 Synthetic Sealant for a little under $7. I haven't heard too much on this sealant, but everything I heard was good. I plan on using it on my RSX to see how it fairs against a NJ winter.
Anyway i'm wondering what would be a good base for this sealant? I searched on MOL and only got one post on this sealant which was 20+ pages. I'm sure my Menzerna would be fine, but i'm looking to use it with a non-abrasive product. I have PwC and RMG, i'm wondering if these will work as a base? I do believe the 20+ review I found on MOL, the reviewer said he used #80 as a base and was OK, so I think I should be in the clear with PwC or RMG.
TIA

btw at the store I had a really funny experience. When I was paying for the sealant Mark(owner) was telling me this was a pure sealant and won't really clean the paint. He also said I need to "properly prep" the car before the sealant. I was just like yup, I know exactly what you mean
It reminded me of the scene in the movie "Fight Club" when Edward Norton is talking to Bob, and Bob tells him hes in a new club but can't tell him what it is. Then Edward Norton goes don't worry Bob i'm in the same club.

RMG or PwC will work fine as a base, but #21 does have cleaners. I wouldn't count on them doing too much if your paint has visible problems but you won't have to worry too much about compatibility issues.

Just bought the M21, going to wash car with DAWN (Blue only). clay the car, use Meguiars Cleaner wax, then M21, wait few day and layer again, week later one more and that should be it. Anyone have any other ideas/suggestions?
Thanks

M21 has always seemed to be a fairly compatible sealant to me. For the record, Meguiar's has stated that M21 will work over any of their polishes/pure polishes. If in doubt you could use a Meguiar's based product first to guarantee maximum results.
