Just introducing myself

Well my name is Andres. Very nice website. I have been doing some reading around.

I am 21 still a full time student in college, 3rd year Civil Engineering, to be exact. I am trying to start a very very small detailing business to earn some extra cash on the weekends. A regular part time job with fixed hours just does not work for me with all the crap that I have to do every week. I am by no means a professional/expert on on detailing but I think I got some decent general knowledge and skills, I have been detailing for a couple of years. I really enjoy it, I guess that's why I spend countless hours keeping my truck looking good. I have an arsenal of detailing products , I like to concentrate on the details :inspector:

I know it's not an easy business but I just want to make some extra cash while doing something that I like.
I am currently working on a couple of flyers and cards. Home made but decent :lol2:. I am just going to give it a shot, if it does not work, I guess it's ok, but I don't really have anything to lose.

I am not planning to buy expensive equipment. Just really basic inexpensive stuff. Decent vacum, water hose, some extra supplies. I already have many products that I use on my own vehicle. I am still working on prices, I guess that I have to go a bit low to have any chance.

I am looking forward to learning a bit from you guys.
Go gators!!!

Welcome to the forum. I'm not a veteran here by any means, but I can tell you that there is a lot of knowledge around here, and everyone is very patient. One of the first things that will likely be recommended is a Porter Cable dual action polisher. Read up...there's tons of great info to be found.
