Just how many sealants does CG have?!

I have never ever made a purchase from CG's before. But with so many products available, I decided to visit the site, and see what would be suitable for some particluar needs I have to address. The write up on the rocket stuff was a little amusing, but anyway, i started noticing how many sealants they have, and well, like the Meguiars syndrome, I ended up getting confused and discouraged. And left without making a purchase.

Anyone care to count how many they have, name it, and add a one line differentiating sentence?

I would be very thankful!

But Patrick, it's not that simple! Each one has it's own special fantabulousness, with a diamond-like reflective wet slick shiny blinding slippery glossy non-stick jewel-like smooth easy-to-apply dripping dirt-releasing mirror-like finish! I think they kidnapped that short English guy from the infomercials, took his lighter fluid away, and told him he couldn't have it back until he wrote a pile of advertising hyperbole for all their products.

I suffer from info overload easily, and too many choices from the same brand drive me crazy. Why can't they (not just CG) rate stuff on a simple scale, like durability and gloss or something. The few companies that do get my attention and credit card more often. Case in point, I have yet to find a bad product, one that fails to deliver as promised by the guy at Majestic Solutions - but their web site is lacking on info, maybe they should let the sales guys that use the stuff write the description. BTW, how many compounds and polishes does anyone really "need" to detail?

Meguiar's syndrome, heh? :rofl

Well, I too get confused with too many. However, I don't try to figure them out myself. I just give them a call and they were always happy to simplify things for me. I ended up getting (over the period of time) M-Seal, WMF, and jetSeal.

LOL... I take it then you've read their adjective loaded product descriptions?

About 10 too many! For the cost of Jetseal (although it may be excellent) I would expect it to apply and buff itself off.

Then what you would expect out of Ultima Sealant for the cost per ounce? To also make coffee, do laundry, cook dinner, ...?

If jetseal 109 or ultima sealant are durable and look good than I will be willing to pay the extra money. Here in Oklahoma life of LSP's are greatly reduced due to sun and heat so normal claims of 6 months durablilty are cut to 2 months tops. Luckily Paul at CG is sending me a sample of jetseal 109 so I will keep everyone posted on how well it works. To the OP I find calling CG is a better bet to figure out what product will be better for you and have them answer all your questions.

:funnypost CG may make good stuff (I've never tried any but many here seem to like it), but I agree their website does make me chuckle sometime.

The certainly have quite the choice of products, I must say! If you know what you're looking for, it's not that bad. But I can see how it can be quite confusing to some...

Maybe a little clean up duty for their website team?

When I first started studying their products it was quite confusing. Fortunately I live close enough I'm able to drive down there and talk to them. If you get a chance I'd recommend speaking to them via phone and ask them about their products. It's really not that confusing once they break it down to you.

Yes...........and then do the dishes!!

I find their excessively verbose descriptions annoying. The other problem is that companies that make several different versions of the same type of product confuse consumers. No company needs ## different QD's, sealants or waxes.
