Just got new ShMITT, defective?

Ok so I just got my order from Autogeek today, and in it was my new all white wash ShMITT. I tried it on, and it felt odd inside, so i looked inside and found the foam to be a little "chewed" up. Is this normal?

maybe the delivery guy was hungry and figured you wouldnt notice since its inside. LOL i dont know, its been a long day.
 
i just looked inside of mine which i have used a few times and its a little chewed up but nothing i notice with my hand inside...only the white side is though, not the yellow.
 
Same here the inside is a bit rough/random. That part obviously doesn't come into contact with anything other than your hand so I just put it down to the way they're manufactured.
