Just finished as the title says. Washed with Dawn, 3M SMR, Klasse AIO, Klasse SG, Meguiars 26. Here are a couple of pics. Sorry about quality, the digital camera I was using wasn't very good.

Looks great man!

That car would look mean with real dark windows!:xyxthumbs

I was just going to suggest tinting the windows. Go 20% all the way around. That should look tight.

Car looks good. Keep it up.

I don't think that 20% is going to fly on a California car. I'm pretty sure the front side windows still have to be naked. Its ok on the rest of em though.

1 coat AIO, 2 coats SG, 1 coat so far of #26 I ran out of time to do more. I was working slow, probably took me somewhere around 8 hours to do the car. I parked under a tree a couple of days ago, lots of sap everywhere. Most of my time went to claying the whole car to get that stupid sap off. Overall I think it can out pretty good, I live next to a construction site, keeping it in that condition should be a challenge.:)

Fellas,

please excuse my ignorance on the subject, but is the PC used for applying or buffing, or both?

ALso, chowdur, which clay bar and lube did you use?

thx

It is used for both. However, I find the machine more so "designed" to lessen your polish time.

When I apply a product it is fairly fast, a layer of wax goes on in 10 minutes. With the PC the time would be cut down to 5 minutes which does not include some more time for applying the product to smaller areas by a foam pad. It probaly would take me longer..

I used to use my PC for the polish, the all in one, the wax and I also used to use it to remove each product from my paint but I found it to be a hassle, it does not do a detailed job as you would by hand and you'll find yourself picking up the small terry/foam pads to apply the product to small areas, not to mention how the velcro backing of the pad becomes weak after you remove and apply the pads over and over again.
