Get better soon STEVE! Dont mix pain meds! Dont over or under medicate either. Crutches cost about $20 a pair. Rent on crutches for wife for a week was $7. Cheaper to own.

the bone is called the "Jones bone" it is one of the few bones that does not always heal correctly ... right now it is just fractured, but if it moves at all it will need surgery to repair ...my foot is about twice the normal size and my ankle is softball size ...the doctor said he will know more in a few weeks when he x-rays again ...assout:

We had to wait for several days for the swelling to subside before surgery. Who knows maybe your fracture will heal properly by the cast/walking boot treatment. One thing for sure, your transit is going to be slower and more deliberate for a while.
